Starting today, the 26th Mayflower Marathon sponsored by FM 99 and 106.9 The Fox, will run their annual food and fund drive for 57 consecutive hours. The Mayflower Marathon is one of The Firm For Men’s favorite sponsorships of the year (check out the sweet shirts!) and definitely one of our very favorite holiday events. Taking place the weekend before Thanksgiving each year, this event collected enough food and monetary support in 2021 to provide more than 537,000 meals! We’re betting on even better this year.

We can tell you from experience that the Mayflower Marathon team has made it easy to give with their simple drive through donation lane! Upon our arrival, we were greeted and cheered on the entire way by Foodbank Friends and volunteers who unloaded an entire truckload of donations for us in minutes. Like we said, easy peasy … and our team couldn’t be more proud!

If you’d like to make an impact this season, Mayflower Marathon runs until 3pm on Sunday, but you can give to the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore any time! You can also make a monetary donation in person or online and for a $20 in-person donation, you can get one of those swanky tees we mentioned!
