The Firm For Men, Swango Law P.C. recently participated in the 2017 St. Jude Radiothon on 97.3 The Eagle to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. As an Angel Of The Hour Sponsor, the firm’s Jason Swango presented a donation from the firm to support St. Jude’s cause.

“It’s just so close to our hearts at The Firm For Men,” said Attorney Jason Swango, founder of the firm. He continued, “Sadly, cancer is something that has touched the lives and weighed on the hearts of so many of us. We’re beyond fortunate that organizations like St. Jude are able to help these children and their families fight these illnesses and lessen the financial burden.”

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is a leader in the research and treatment of childhood cancer and other diseases. The organization has helped children in the U.S. and around the world, while also ensuring the families in need never receive a bill. According to St. Jude, an estimated 7,500 patients are seen by the hospital every year, many of whom receive long-term treatment and are part of St. Jude’s research programs. Because of the lifesaving advances made by St. Jude, children with some of the most common forms of childhood cancer now have an 80% chance of survival, compared to 20% in 1962.

The Firm For Men is urging its local friends, clients, and businesses to donate during the St. Jude Radiothon and throughout the year. Jason Swango reminds us,

“As long as there’s such thing as cancer, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital will always have a critical need. It takes everyone pitching in to really make a difference in the lives of children in Hampton Roads and around the world.”
