Family Law Attorney – Chad Simpson

Attorney Chad Simpson is a U.S. Navy veteran, an avid runner (ever heard of Running Elvis?!), and one heck of a devoted family law attorney.

Attorney Simpson attended the Preparatory School, Desoto, in a small town in Arkansas, where he excelled in running and cross country, remaining undefeated in his last year of high school with a record, still unbroken, in the mile of 4:30 and the two-mile of 9:44.  His impressive achievements in running led to a track scholarship to the University of Central Arkansas (UCA). He ran track and cross country for the university with a personal best of 1:52 in the 800 and 3:50 in the 1500.  He graduated in May 1993, under the pre-law program, with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in History and Political Science.

Upon graduating from the University of Central Arkansas, he joined the United States Navy and served from November 1992 – July 2001.  While serving in the United States Navy, he received the following awards and accomplishments:  graduated #1 as Top Seaman in Boot Camp; Sailor of the Quarter; graduated from Navy Search and Rescue (SAR) Swimmer School; graduated from Navy Legal School; received Navy Athlete of the Year – Running, Honorable Mention; received numerous Letters of Appreciation and Commendation, including the Joint Forces Commendation (JFC) Medal.  While serving aboard the United States Warship, the USS HAWES (FFG-53), as Legal Yeoman, he helped hundreds of sailors with their legal needs.  Additionally, while in the United States Navy, he attended the Graduate Program of International Studies (GPIS) at Old Dominion University (ODU), where he studied military Strategy and Policy with an emphasis in War and Peace.

After fulfilling his military commitments and receiving an Honorable Discharge, he attended Regent School of Law and graduated May 2005, finally fulfilling his life-long dream of becoming an attorney.  Since graduating and passing the Virginia State Bar, Attorney Simpson has been helping people in the local area with their legal needs, just as he helped sailors when he was stationed aboard the United States Warship, the USS HAWES- (FFG 53).

When he is not working, Attorney Simpson enjoys running and is well-known in the running community as a competitive runner.  When not racing or training, he enjoys reading and spending time with his wife and two dogs.  Attorney Simpson is an Athlete.  Attorney Simpson is a Veteran.  Attorney Simpson is an Attorney.  Attorney Simpson is someone who will fight for you!
